What is included
Import export transportation is the road leg of an international shipment — moving cargo or containers between your premises and the port, airport or inland container depot.
- Container haulage — empty container to your factory for stuffing, laden container to the port (and the reverse for imports).
- Full truck load (FTL) — dedicated trucks for factory-to-port or port-to-warehouse moves.
- Part load (LTL) — shared trucking for smaller consignments going to an LCL consolidation point or air cargo terminal.
- Factory stuffing — coordination of stuffing and sealing at your premises.
- Door delivery — import cargo delivered to your factory or warehouse after clearance.
Common routes we run

- Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (Waluj, Shendra) → Nhava Sheva
- Nagpur and Vidarbha → Nhava Sheva or nearby ICDs
- Kolhapur, Sangli, Satara, Solapur → Nhava Sheva
- Bhiwandi, Thane, Navi Mumbai warehouses ↔ port and air cargo
Planning around the vessel cut-off
Every vessel has a gate-in cut-off — the last time a laden container can enter the terminal. Missing it means waiting for the next sailing and paying extra storage. We plan the move backwards from the cut-off: empty container pick-up, stuffing time at your factory, transit time to the port, and customs filing so the container gates in with time to spare.
For imports
We line up the truck before clearance is complete, so the container leaves the terminal as soon as it is released — reducing port storage and detention charges.
Why one team for transport and customs
When the transporter and the customs broker are different companies, small delays multiply: the truck waits for the Let Export Order, the paperwork waits for the truck. With Cathasia Exim handling both, the truck moves the moment the documents are ready — and you get one update instead of three.

Frequently asked questions
Do you transport containers from Pune to Nhava Sheva?
Yes — it’s one of our most frequent routes. We arrange the empty container, stuffing at your factory and delivery to JNPA before the vessel cut-off.
Can you deliver import cargo to my factory after clearance?
Yes. We deliver from Nhava Sheva, Mumbai or the ICD to anywhere in Maharashtra.
Do you handle small consignments?
Yes. Part-load trucking works well for LCL and air shipments that don’t need a full truck.
Is an e-way bill required?
An e-way bill is generally needed when moving goods above the GST threshold value by road. We’ll generate it or check yours before the truck leaves.
